Turning a programme into a festival.

Youth Fest brought young people, cultural organisations and community partners together at Teen Hub in Al Bidda Park during Qatar Sustainability Week. Workshops, youth enterprises, performances and public activities made sustainability something people could explore and practise.

I contributed to programme and operational coordination: aligning partners, preparing activities, supporting youth and volunteer involvement, and bringing the launch, daily programme and closing event together with the Teen Hub team.

What the work involved

  • Coordinating partner contributions and programme requirements.
  • Connecting workshops, public activations and youth participation.
  • Supporting event preparation, communications and delivery logistics.
  • Documenting the programme and its reported outcomes.

03 / WEBSITE & PARTICIPANT EXPERIENCE

Making the invitation clear.

My contribution to the festival website covers the brief, content review and coordination: explaining the offer, distinguishing audience journeys, checking programme and partner information, and specifying improvements to volunteer participation.

I work with the delivery team to turn programme updates into usable public information. The platform’s technical development is by Cliqom.
